MCA Testing

The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCAs) and alternate assessments (Minnesota Test of Academic Skills (MTAS)) are the state tests that help districts measure student progress toward Minnesota's academic standards and also meet the requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). All students are encouraged to take the MCAs regardless of what learning model they are currently participating in, however, testing is only offered on-site, in-person and VLA students will be scheduled with their 1st period or Advisory teachers on the dates below. District transportation to school will be provided on the days below for those students who typically receive district transportation services.
