Camp 6

Camp 6

Hello 6th Grade Families and WELCOME TO OLTMAN! We’re excited to meet our newest Raiders as we begin the 2021-22 school year! Our 6th grade team has been busy planning WEB* and teacher-led activities for your 6th grader's first day of school, also referred to as “Camp 6”.

The goal of this day  is to help our students get to know the building, get to know each other, and get set up for success as we start the year and their middle school experience. Most importantly, by the end of the day, we want our students to feel confident that they are safe, welcome, and cared about here at Oltman. We are confident that in spite of the ongoing challenges, changes, and unique circumstances, this will be an incredible year for our students, families, and staff.

Please continue reading for more information about how to prepare for and what to expect on your 6th grader’s first day of school!

*WEB is a program that selects and trains 8th grade student leaders to not only support and mentor 6th graders but also lead students in creating a positive school climate.
